Zilker neighborhood is a highly sought after neighborhood due to it's proximity to Zilker Park and Downtown, and stays true to it's South Austin roots. Walking distance to S Lamar, S 1st, and S Congress for great restaurants, cafes, bars, shops. Take a dip in Barton Springs Pool, rent kayaks and stand up paddle boards on Lady Bird Lake, or take a walk or bike around the trail. Pickleball/tennis court/playground on Bluebonnet Ln. Alamo Drafthouse is in walking distance if you want to catch food with a movie, or walk to Saxon Pub for great live music. Too many great restaurants and coffee shops to name, just ask if you'd like some recommendations! You will find many original bungalows in addition to modern new builds, so it's nice to leisurely stroll around this unique neighborhood.
